New Events and Services at St Joseph's

St Joseph's Parish Centre has spent 50 years at the heart of the Irish community in North London. They have kept their Saturday night dances and their Ceilis going - despite huge challenges they faced through Covid.

We are honoured to be launching our first ever advice service in Islington as a partnership project with St Joseph's Parish centre. From Monday 24th April 2023, the Irish Elderly Advice Network will be providing our advice services once a month, and we will increase this if the demand is there.

We are excited to be working with the parish and the parish hall committee and would like to thank Helen Spratt, Helen Nolan, and Bernie Fahey and the other members of the committee for their work in helping us to set up the new service. There is still a large older Irish community in Archway, Holloway, Highgate, and in Islington and the surrounding boroughs - we look forward to helping support the community here.

"Open Day - Meet the Irish Elderly Advice Network Team" Mon 24th April, 11am to 2pm, St Joseph's Parish Centre, Highgate Hill, N19 5NE

We are hosting a relaxed event, where you can come along and meet the advice workers, hear more about the help and the services we can offer. There will be Irish music and refreshments. Advice will be available on the day so please bring any papers you would like to discuss with us.

To enter the Parish Centre, from Highgate Hill, walk into the church entrance and take the path by the right side of the church. You can also enter directly from Dartmouth Park Hill (at the back of the Whittington hospital). Free parking

available.
